Spent the morning hanging out with Carter. We got to his place and concluded it would be a bad idea to run to his house during a zombie apocalypse because of his garage door.
He cooked lamb and I helped crush garlic and ginger because I’m pro at that… really the only thing I’m good at doing in the kitchen. Also had some talks about things that involved relationships and family… lotsa stories.
While we waited for the food, we played Tekken and he beat me like an abusive parent beat their child. Really shouldn’t be joking about these kinds of things. Actually, I just let him win. I’m a gentlelady like that.
When the food was done we ate while we watched Bride Wars. What we learned: “You do not alter Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera. What do boys learn in school?”
