Conversation.
R: So, what do you wanna watch?
K: I don't know, what do you wanna watch?
R: I don't really care, anything will do.
K: Yeah, I'm not that picky either whatever you want is fine.
R: How 'bout this?
K: Well, maybe, but let's keep looking.
R: Why? What's wrong with it?
K: Nothing, nothing, but we just got here so let's look around a little bit more.
R: Have you seen this?
K: Uh, no, I don't think so.
R: I've seen it, it's good. I guess you don't want to see a comedy tonight.
K: Well, comedy's fine but I guess I'm just not really in the mood to seeing one where everyone gets married in the end.
R: Well, okay, but I don't really want to see one of those where everyone dies at the end either.
K: Hey, I know a good one. This is a really good one, I think you'll like it.
R: Oh, um, okay.
K: Really, it's good. I saw it over at Jim's house and it's great.
R: You want to watch something you've already seen?
K: I'd totally be into seeing it again and I think you'd like it.
R: Well, um, okay. If you really want to, we can get it.
K: Not in the mood for a serious one, huh?
R: No, no, no, we can get it.
K: We can keep looking if you want.
R: No, no, we can get that
K: Nah, let's keep on looking.
R: Have you seen this?
K: I don't know, I don't remember seeing it.
R: Do you want to watch it?
K: Sure, that'll be fine.
R: Well what do you mean by fine?
K: Well, that would be fine, I wouldn't mind seeing that.
R: Well, what do you mean by you wouldn't mind?
K: Well, I'd be alright with seeing that.
R: Well fine means fine, it doesn't really mean you wanna see it. So what you're saying is you don't really want to see it.
K: Hey, wait a second, why don't we get one of those sixties musicals that you like?
R: Why? You don't like them.
K: Well I'm not usually too into the stories but you know they're really colourful and the choreography is interesting.
R: But you don't like the stories.
K: Well not usually but they're so fun to watch because they're so melodramatic.
R: So you wanna get a movie that I like so you can laugh at it so you can make fun of me is that what you're saying?
K: Look, we might not be able to settle for something today so why don't we go back and watch something we've already got at home.
R:
K: Honey, why don't we watch something we've already got at home?
R:
K: Honey, baby what's the matter?
R: You don't love me anymore.
K: Of course I do.
R: No, you don't.
K: C'mon, what does this got to do with it?
R: I don't know.
K: Of course, I still love you.
R: No you don't.
K: I just don't want to argue tonight and since we can't agree on a movie I thought we should just watch something we already got.
R: You're yelling at me. Why are you yelling at me? Don't yell at me.
K: Look, please, I just really don't want to fight.
R: I don't want to fight either.
K: Let's get outta here.
R: Okay.
K: Okay?
R: Okay.
It’s cool, you know.
Golden hair, Hercules strength, his mom’s chin, and Aladdin are what I think about when I think of you. It’s cool, you know. I have this image in my head and sometimes when I’m not doing much I like to take you apart and think of what remind me of you.
I like how you like my stretch marks. I don’t really like them, but I guess I don’t like them a little less now that you like them. You call them lightening tattoos. You run your fingers over them and tell me they’re cool. It’s cool, you know. Self confidence, self-assurance, belief in myself and my abilities are what come out of that.
“I can’t sing,” you say. I laugh because you do. You sing in my ear when we’re under the blanket of darkness and vast empty space. You hum, you whisper, you sing. It’s cool, you know. I have to stop myself from telling you “but you do sing,” because that’ll only make you stop.
Valentine.
Love, it’s a special day
We should celebrate and appreciate
That you and me found something pretty neat
And I know some say this day is arbitrary
But it’s a good excuse to put our love to use
Baby, I know what to do
Baby, I will love you
I’ll love you, I’ll love you
Love, I don’t need those things
I don’t need no ring
I don’t need anything
But you with me
‘Cause in your company
I feel happy, oh so happy and complete
And it’s a good excuse to put our love to use
Baby, I know what to do
Baby, II will love you
I’ll love you, I’ll love you
Yeah it’s a good excuse to put our love to use
Baby, I know what to do
Baby, I will love youI’ll love you, I’ll love you
So won’t you be my honey bee?
Giving me kisses all the time
Be mine, be my Valentine
So won’t you be my honey bee?
Giving sweet kisses all the time
Be mine, be my Valentine
Be my Valentine
